Clinique Maymard

Your departure from the polyclinic

Your discharge

The doctor in charge of your hospitalisation will decide the day of your discharge. Discharges are scheduled before mid-Day. When you leave, the nursing team will help you with the practical details.

We are at your disposal to help you with administrative formalities, to facilitate your return home or to organise your stay in a convalescent home or rehabilitation centre. If you are a minor, you may only leave the hospital in the presence of a parent or guardian.

In the event of an unauthorised discharge, you will be asked to sign a discharge form against medical advice, which will release the clinic from all liability for any consequences.

Hospitalization costs

The Clinique pf Docteur Maymard is a category A hospital, approved by the Caisse Régionale de Sécurité Sociale Sud-Est. This means that if you have social security cover :

  • Or 80% of the cost of your stay is covered (20% is paid by you or your mutual insurance company),
  • Or they are covered at 100% if you are exempt from paying the co-payment (complementary universal health cover, long-term illness and hospitalization related to this illness, pregnancy from the 6th month and maternity).

You will still have to pay for certain expenses (for more details, see the "Your Comfort" section):

  • Hotel supplements (telephone, television, etc.),
  • A single room, depending on whether your mutual insurance company will cover it.
In the absence of notification of reimbursement by your mutual insurance company, you may also be asked to pay in advance.
  • A fixed contribution of €18 has been charged since 1 September 2006 for medical procedures costing more than €120. Exemptions from this charge are available on request from the admissions office.

This fee is waived for patients whose hospitalization is due to an accident at work or a work-related illness, for people receiving maternity care up to a limit of 12 days from the 6th month, and for beneficiaries of article L115 of the Military Pensions Code.

Additional fees

The practitioners who provide your care may have opted for the conventional sector with free fees. In this case, they are authorized to charge extra fees at their own discretion, which you or your mutual insurance company will have to pay.

Transport

Subject to medical justification and certain conditions (transport voucher), transport in a Véhicule Sanitaire Léger (VSL) or ambulance may be covered.
